As of mid-September we’ve reached 6,000 page views. Thank you to everyone who stops by and considers the work these artists are doing to fight things like poverty, homelessness, and disease. Support them and we can expect not only more great art, but a bigger audience for the positive message these creators carry.

Anne Harris performs “Lullaby”

Singer-songwriter-fiddler Anne Harris was kind enough to play a song for us and let us share it with you. Here she is performing “Lullaby” with just her fiddle and her voice. And don’t miss our interview with Anne, where she talks about her background, her music, and her involvement with Coat Angels, who are working hard to provide winter coats to disadvantaged school children in Chicago.

A Warming Effect: musician Anne Harris

In music and in speaking out for a cause, it helps to have a voice backed by passion and conviction. Singer-songwriter-fiddler Anne Harris puts hers to good use helping non-profit Coat Angels get warm winter coats into the hands of disadvantaged kids who need them. In this video interview by filmmaker Dalton Gaudin, Harris talk about her music and about Coat Angels, and performs some of her music, too.

2,500 page views.

Another milestone passed… As of last month we’ve recorded over 2,500 page views. Only a few months earlier we were at 1,000.

Please spread the word about The Lamp Project. The end result will be a world with even more great art, made by artists who are also devoted to taking care of their world and trying to leave it a happier, healthier, cleaner, safer, and more just place than they found it.
